Frequency vs. Channel Mode

These 2 ways accept different roles and are often confused.

Frequency Mode - applied for a temporary frequency duty assignment, such as a try out frequency or immediate field programming.

Channel Mode - applied as selecting preprogrammed channels.

Altogether programming is essential to be at first done in the Frequency manner using the Upper Display alone. By in that location you have the choice of setting the recorded information to a specific channel for later approach in the Channel manner if desired.

Crucial: Programming executed using the Lower display cannot be kept and will be lost.
