HOW TO Program the frequencies into channels on the BAOFENG UV-5R radios

For the manual saving mode, you only need to use the UV-5R keypad. You need to change to Frequency mode (see the orange button in the image below), manually enter t​​he frequency you need​​ to save. Press the MENU button from the Keypad,

​​press 2 and 7, than press MENU again, select the channel you want to save to, then press MENU once again. The f​​requency is saved to the selected channel. Head back to channel mode (press the orange button), then select the channel where you have saved the frequency. That's it. This method is quite a pain when you need to save several channels.
